This year’s Nakuru secondary schools rugby league upping their game just after a local company decided to inject over Sh2.5 million into the sport.

The company, Reliable Concrete Works is said to have chosen several schools in the county to boost including Menengai High School, Kirobon Secondary, Langa Langa High, Spotlight High, Nakuru Boys and Uhuru High School.

The schools, which have been on watch for a while have proved great sportsmanship and have confirmed participation in the annual Reliable Schools Challenge Cup. The championship is aimed at developing talents and life skills among students in various secondary schools within the region.

The inaugural sevens tournament for juniors and seniors started off last week and finals have been set for February 28 this year. Up for grabs in the tournament is a full repair of reception and staff rooms with high quality branding for the first three finishers of the game.
