Mr Mungai said this will permanently solve the disquiet and wrangles currently simmering especially at the county level as politicians position themselves for the impending 2017 polls.

Mr Mungai has since announced his intention to gun for gubernatorial position where he vowed to give his opponents a run for their money.

“I know my opponents have planted dirty methods and some of them have now turned to mudslinging and propaganda by spreading rumours in the social media,” he said adding, “let them know that am much ready to face them.”

Former NTSA chairman Lee Kinyanjui, former NACADA boss John Mututho, the incumbent Governor Kinuthia Mbugua are some of the front-runners.

Last month, chaos erupted at a meeting convened by Naivasha politician James Karimi at the defunct TNA offices in Nakuru.

The senator believes with the naming of the interim official, such wrangles will be resolve and the party will go to nominations well prepared.

Karimi was accused of organizing a meeting to impose the county Jubilee party chairperson.

At the same time, the Nakuru senator who is a member of the Jubilee Party expressed optimism that the nomination process will be free and fair.

“I truly believe that the leaders of Jubilee have committed themselves to a free and fair process. This will allow the party to grow. It’s a democratic party and I truly believe the leaders are committed to it,” he added.

He however expressed confidence that he will clinch the seat, pointing out that it will give him an opportunity to redeem county and improve the livelihood of people.

Officials of the old Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP), which was renamed JP after the merger of 13 parties, were retained in the new outfit unveiled a month ago.

Only President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto, as party leader and deputy party leader respectively, were added to the list of seven old officials that was filed with the Registrar of Political Parties.

Jubilee Party has 31 positions both at the national and county level.
