Nakuru County government on Friday feted its staff for winning second best award during the recently concluded inter-county games.
The inter-county derby, known as Kenya Inter Counties Sports and Cultural Association games, was held in Alfred Mutua's Machakos county.Governor Lee Kinyanjui hosted the team at the Nakuru Atheletic Club where members were rewarded.
Kinyanjui commended the team and promised more goodies in future.
"I wish to congratulate you for the victory. Attaining second position is very commendable," Kinyanjui said.
Nakuru County Assembly's Majority Leader Stanley Karanja, Chairman of Budget Moses Ndungu Kamau and CEC for Youth, Gender, Culture, Sports and Social Welfare Halima Gababa Abdulahi among other guests attended the function.
