Three teachers from the privately owned Delamere Victory academy in Pipeline estate in Nakuru have been suspended by the school for allegedly assaulting students.
The three are reported to have breached conduct while handling a situation in which a student interfered with the electricity main switch on Sunday night causing near chaos in the school.
The teachers, alleged to have been drunk, are said to have tortured the main suspects using hockey sticks.
They then forced them to ingest nitric acid and hot tea.
The school's director Marcelas Ongachi was on Thursday forced to send all students home as he awaits to hold a crisis meeting with parents and the accused teachers on Friday.
