The county government of Nakuru will soon start honoring a number of individuals who have contributed majorly in the development of various sectors.

This is according to Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui who said his government will form a task force that will present the names of individuals to the county assembly.

Kinyanjui said this will see some roads in Nakuru named in honor of the individuals as recognition of their efforts towards development.

“We have leaders in Nakuru who have played major roles and as a county we will begin a process of renaming some roads in their honor,” he said.

Governor Kinyanjui also called on residents to ensure development of Nakuru county through various sectors.

Kinyanjui spoke on Tuesday during the Jamhuri Day celebrations held at Afraha stadium in Nakuru.
