Nakuru County has been trending on Twitter ahead of the Madaraka celebrations that are set to take place on Wednesday at the iconic Afraha Stadium.

Under the Hash tag #TembeaNakuru, the County has been trending on Twitter all through Monday with more than 3,000 tweets from various twitter handles.

Nakuru Town is 160 kms North West of Nairobi, a 2-hour ride by road has been hailed and ranked among the world’s most iconic and colorful destinations.

Bonafide Adventures, a tourist entity through their twitter handle has termed the county as a ‘home to colony of flamingoes as well as the endangered species like white rhino and Rothschild giraffe.’

‘Alex The Blogger’ an Online Influencer in Nakuru welcomed the president Uhuru Kenyatta to the County and also encouraged visitors to visit various tourist attraction sites like the Lake Nakuru National park.

@FamousNakuru an influential Nakuru twitter handle also highlighted some of the best places that tourist coming over the Madaraka Celebrations can spend time with their families.

Business is expected to boom over the next few days as all eyes are on Nakuru ahead of the celebrations.
