A 28-year-old expectant woman who burnt herself using kerosene in Langalanga at the outskirts of Nakuru town on Sunday evening has died.
According to a nurse from Nakuru Level Five Hospital who did not want her revealed, the woman died on Wednesday evening.
The unborn baby also died.
Before her death, Njoki stated that her husband had extra marital affairs, something which caused problems in their marriage adding that she burnt herself out of anger.
"When he came back on Sunday evening, he picked a quarrel after I asked him where he had been. I was angry and decided to end my life by burning myself," she said.
According to Njoki’s neighbors she burnt herself after suspecting that her husband was having an extramarital affair.
