Nakuru County Women Rep. Mary Mbugua has said that the fight against terrorism should be conducted ruthlessly without sparing any particular group, community or relying much on the international community.
Mbugua urged that Kenyans should support the government in the war against terror and terror groups in the country.
"I want to tell the President that as a nation we are behind him in this war against criminals. He should not spare anybody be it the supporters or the financiers of terrorism in our communities,” said Mbugua.
She has said that the senseless terror killings witnessed in Garissa, Mandera, Nairobi and Mombasa Counties should come to an end forthwith adding that that will only be achieved by arresting those financing terrorists.
Mbugua however says for this to be achieved all stakeholders starting from citizens themselves must work in unison with the government.
"We all have a role to play in this war, people should know their surroundings like they know their house. By doing this we will always notice something unusual and definitely report the same before any life is lost to the merciless terrorists,” advised Mbugua.
The county Women Rep. was addressing Journalists in Nakuru Town on Friday.
