Nakuru youth have been told to embrace technology and use it wisely to earn descent income.
Governor Kinuthia Mbugua observes that technology has the potential of transforming development especially among youths.
The Governor said young people must use the skills they have to come up with technology applications.
“Nakuru youths should embrace technology and use it to better their lives,” said Mbugua.
Speaking to the media at his office on Monday, Mbugua said his government will use technology to provide services to the people.
Mbugua added that technology has been integrated into most service delivery systems for efficiently and quick service.
He added that his government is collaborating with public and private ICT providers to set centers across the county.
Mbugua said time has come for the country to adopt ICT platforms and use them to deliver services.
The Governor cited Huduma centers set up in some area across the country saying they have hastened service delivery.
He called on the government to nurture and support ICT platforms at the county government levels.
