Nakuru county tops the list of counties likely to influence the 2022 presidential election.
Bragging of up to 900, 000 registered voters, Nakuru will be a battle zone, with candidates clashing in pursuit of the big portion of the vote basket.
Consequently, being one of the most populous counties in the country, Nakuru will dictate who the next president will be.
The county could also produce the next Deputy President, should an earlier proposal suggesting Governor Lee Kinyanjui deputizes William Ruto come to pass.
This means that the county will be at the center of the election, with the biggest section of residents, if not all, probable to come out and vote in Ruto's favor for the sake of the county chief.
Being a cosmopolitan county, bringing together members of all ethnic communities in the nation, a portion will obviously defy the current to vote in the opposite direction, as has always been the case.
