Details of five Administration Police (AP) officers who were killed during an attack on Mandera governor Ali Roba's convoy, have been released. 

The officers were in a police vehicle escorting the governor, when it hit a land mine, Wednesday, damaging their car. 

The five died instantly, at Fino area, with Roba, announcing later, that he was safe and sound.

The convoy from Arabia, heading to Laffey.

According to Tuko, names of the five AP officers are:

1. Ibrahim Noor Mohamed

2. Abdinasir Adan

3. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdullahi

4. Ayub Bashir Abdi

5. Boniface Mutuku
