The institutions managed to score a mean of 387.68 and 384.88 respectively in 2015 Kenya Certificate of primary education.

Mochama believes naming dormitories after renowned national schools like Alliance High, Alliance Girls, and Loreto High School has played an integral role in motivating learners towards excellence.

"We reverted to naming our dormitories after established national schools such as Starehe and Alliance High School as a challenge to learners,” he said during Tuesday’s interview.

“I think to some extent, the naming of these dormitories has played a key role towards the recording of convincing performances in national exams," said Mochama.

"Our students always work hard to be admitted to those intuitions,” he said.

He also said the two institutions borrow heavily from Alliance High School where he is a board member.

“I am a board member at Alliance High and most of our traditions and disciplines are borrowed from them. Our students are taught to be responsible and hard working at a tender age," added Mochama.

"They select schools based on the names of their dormitories and I am happy many of them get admitted to those learning centers,” he said.
