ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has sent a 'strong' message to Budalangi member of parliament Ababu Namwamba, after he allegedly declared his support for Jubilee.
According to Etale, the Labour Party leader who decamped from ODM was 'bribed' to join the Uhuru Kenyatta-led party.
"Thank you my big brother Ababu Namwamba for declaring your support for Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017. That is your decision,'' Etale said in a message to Namwamba.
"You join the other few leaders from the land of Mulembe who have without thinking decided to support Jubilee. Like a vehicle with a punctured tyre, the engine (money) will work but the body (wananchi) will not move,'' he added, Friday.
Given that Etale originates from Western Kenya just like Namwamba, he said nothing will make him change his support for ODM leader Raila Odinga, like Namwamba did.
"I choose to be on the right side of history. I will continue to support the people's president Raila Amolo Odinga,'' he said.
