West Mugirango MP James Gesami has insisted that his recent claims that directly linked Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba with Jubilee government were true following the lawmaker's ‘confirmation’ on national television.
The ODM Nyamira County chair recently accused Namwamba of being used by Jubilee to venture into the strongholds of opposition as a strategy to garner votes in 2017 polls.
Gesami who spoke on Thursday during a phone interview with this writer challenged supporters from opposition strongholds to be ‘cautious' of the outspoken legislator by avoiding him.
“I said recently that he was been used by Jubilee to invade Cord strongholds in the name of a third force. I am happy he vindicated me in a national TV when he said he would start with regions that he was familiar with,” Gesami said.
“His recent trips to Western and Coast are just but plans of Jubilee. Time has come for my brother to come out and openly support Jubilee government. He has nothing new to offer because he is working for his Jubilee masters,” Gesami added.
Namwamba on Wednesday maintained that his dream of giving Kenyans an alternative were real and hinted of a planned move to unveil a new political party that will field candidates across the country in 2017.
