The controversial Budalang'i MP announced his resignation from the orange party last week.

In an interview with a local TV station on Wednesday, Cord Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya accused Mr Namwamba of being unfair to the party.

He said the talkative MP had dug his own political grave.

Mr Magaya said Namwamba had left the party long ago and that his announcement about the resignation meant little.

Namwamba cited frustration within the party as his reason for exiting ODM.

Namwamba resigned one week after Funyula MP Paul Otwoma resigned as ODM Deputy Chairman.
