[Photo|@KTNNews]The family of the outgoing Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba, has called on the police to speed up investigations, and arrest goons who broke into their home.Namwamba who is the Labour party leader, lost his seat to former area MP, ODM's Raphael Wanjala, in the August 8 polls.Ababu's head of campaign, and spokesperson Prof Tom Namwamba, said an unknown gang broke into his home, three times, on different days, during the night, but did not steal anything.He said their lives were in danger, given that the gang did not steal anything, from the house, which had 95 per cent electronics.According to him, the attack was politically motivated."I have a reason to believe that this attack is politically motivated. The attackers did not steal anything despite the house having 95% electronics such as home theatre," said Tom, who is also Ababu's brother.Speaking at his home, Thursday, he however pointed fingers at the Budalangi MP elect, Wanjala, saying he was the one who sponsored the goons to attack them.Namwamba said Wanjala was targeting his family, with aims to twist the mind of his brother, from moving on, with matters of development in the government after losing in the election.
