"Kenya is improving on conferencing, The setting up of a convention Bureau to be housed at KICC is a major step towards Policy reforms in the industry in Kenya," she said after participating as a panelist at the IMEX Policy Forum private National Government discussion in collaboration with the United Nations World Tourism Organization UNWTO chaired by Nina Freysen Pretorius and the President of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).Formerly known as the Politicians Forum this year participants discussed ‘The legacy of positive policy-making ’ an agenda specifically designed to explore how to bridge the ‘partnership gap’ existing between Governments, National and local and the meetings industry.Other panelists included Justice Thomas Mihayo, Chairman of the Tanzania Tourist Board, Elizabeth Thabethe Deputy Minister of Tourism South Africa among other representatives.
