Busia County's Nangina Ward MCA John Obwogo has called for the unconditional return of NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and co-principal Musalia Mudavadi's 20 security officers who were withdrawn on Tuesday.Speaking in his ward during the World contraceptive Day, Obwogo said it is unfair to withdraw security to Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi yet they are supposed to enjoy it like other national leaders."I am appealing to the National government through president Uhuru Kenyatta to lift that order lest they will be held squarely responsible if anything happens to the thee opposition leaders," he said.Obwogo also appealed to Busia County residents to conduct themselves with decorum in the countdown to the fresh presidential elections on October 26, saying elections will come and go but residents need each other."Although I am rooting for Raila's election I will ensure democracy is given its space in his ward, adding that residents are supposed to live like brothers and sisters," he said.Obwogo said the anti-IEBC demonstrations which started in Nairobi and some parts of Nyanza will be replicated in Busia County.
