[Photo: the-star]Turkana governor Josphat Nanok has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee administration of interfering with oil business in the county.When the oil operations commenced, Nanok aids Turkana leaders expected the business to bloom but it has since failed to take off, because Jubilee government failed to support the project.Speaking at Chepsirei, Elgeyo Marakwet county during the National Super Alliance (Nasa) campaigns, the ODM governor indicated cases of insecurity in the North Rift region and lack of good transport system were major hindrances to ensuring the oil project is a success.Nanok noted the Jubilee government had failed to ensure security in the area, adding that the Nasa government would address it, once it assumes power after August polls.The county boss who is also the chairman of the Council of Governors further called on residents of Baringo to support Nasa, and help restore peace and security across the county and the entire North Rift region.
