Turkana Governor, Josphat Nanok, has complained of incomplete houses for the Internally Displaced Persons living in the county.
Nanok says the camps were being constructed by the national government in an effort to resettle 11,000 victims of the 2007/08 Post Election Violence.
Speaking in Lodwar Town, Nanok said ten years down the line, the IDPs from Turkana have never settled in their houses.
Nanok called on the national government to complete the houses, construct toilets and renovate the ones that had collapsed due to poor workmanship.
The seven camps are Kanan, Kanamkemer, Nataparkakono,Lokori, Nakwamekwi, Lokichar and Kakuma.
