[Photo|ODM]National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga, made entry into Narok County, an area widely occupied by the Maasai community. He made several stopovers at various points such as Ntulele and Ewaso Nyiro, flanked by several Nasa leaders and local opposition leaders. The local Nasa leaders assured Raila of the Narok votes, saying he was the best person to save the Maa community, from several hardships they had experienced since Kenya attained independence."The Maa community has been marginalised by successive post-independence governments and yearns for a level playing field, justice and inclusivity like all other Kenyan communities. As NASA our aim is to have a nation of equal opportunity for all that celebrates our diverse cultural heritage," affirmed Odinga, Saturday.Several leaders who spoke during a stopover in Narok town called on Raila to address the issues surrounding the Mau Forest, and ensure the Maa community occupies it."Issues of Mau Forest, we will look into them. I will ensure your matters are first addressed, when Nasa takes over from Jubilee government in October," he added.Fresh presidential election is slated for October 17."Our quest for justice continues untiringly until we arrive in Canaan, our destination. The end of the era of mismanagement of the State draws nearer with each passing day. The light at the end of the tunnel ushers in a prosperous, harmonious Kenya."
