Uasin Gishu women representative Glady's Shollei now says that the opposition NASA alliance is to blame for the ongoing political stalemate.
Speaking on Citizen TV, Shollei said that the alliance's decision to boycott the October 26 presidential polls has played a big role in the division currently being witnessed in the nation,further accusing the team of speaking from both sides of the mouth.
She took issue with the alliance's recent calls for dialogue with regards to a new election saying that the it lacks moral authority to talk matters election.
''NASA should not be talking to us about dialogue as they are the reason why the nation is facing the current puzzle.They are the ones who boycotted the concluded election thinking that the move could paralyze the exercise but upon realizing that they made a mistake,and the process went ahead as planned,are now trying to take us back again to another election,'' she said.
She also approved NASA's initiation of a special resistance wing seeking to weaken President Uhuru Kenyatta's stay in office saying that the alliance is justified to oppose the re-election but calling upon its leaders to operate within the law.
''NASA leaders have every right to oppose the government and carry out all their announced plans provided that they do not cause chaos.
