Murang'a County Deputy Governor Gakure Monyo has lashed out at the National Super Alliance (NASA) for the constant attack on IEBC, the police service and KDF.
According to Monyo, the NASA coalition has geared off real issues affecting Kenyans and have resolved to sideshows in a bid to get the attention of Kenyans.
The DG also faulted NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga for publishing 42 names of police officers and KDF rangers who he claimed are in the process of aiding the Jubilee administration of rigging the August polls.
"The NASA fraternity has lost the course of politics in the country and have resorted to sideshows. The coalition is not attending to real issues affecting Kenyans and that is why IEBC, police service and the KDF are under attack," said Monyo.
Monyo further reiterated that remarks by Raila can be a recipe for violence as he reaches out to a very large audience.
He disagreed with Homabay Senator Moses Kajwang' who called for Raila's remarks to be investigated since a similar occurrence was witnessed during the 2007 electioneering period.
"Raila's remarks are baseless and uncalled for. He has a large audience in the country and his remarks may lead to violence against the independent bodies he has linked to the rigging claim," added Monyo.
Monyo made the remarks during an interview on Citizen TV on Friday.
