Former Bonchari Member of Parliament Zebedeo Opore has accused the National Super Alliance of mobilizing their supporters to turn up in Uhuru Park to attend a fake swearing-in ceremony and there after sending them away empty-handed.

Opore chided the NASA leadership for rounding up a million plus people to make a spectacle and offer no refreshments afterward nor out-of-pocket stipend for their welfare.

“That kind of mistreating Kenyans is not useful. People arriving in Mombasa from the occasion in Nairobi when asked what they had gone to do in Uhuru Park, had nothing to show for all their trouble” said Opore

Opore at the same time, commended the other three NASA Principals,Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Senator Moses Wetangula forgiving the event a wide berth.

He said the trio exhibited wisdom in giving credence to the adage‘cowards live long’ by chickening out of the foolhardy mission, adding there is no evidence in history that anyone was ever credited for being a courageous fool.

He lauded President Kenyatta, his Deputy, William Ruto and Internal Security  CS, Dr. Fred Matiang’i for the sober manner the security organs handled the events that he said averted a deadly confrontation that could have led to loss of lives.
