National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders have defended their name and said if they should be sued then Jubilee has to be in court as well.
Touring their campaign exploits in Wajir County, the opposition chiefs accused Jubilee of using the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to sabotage NASA progress.
The entity in question is demanding that NASA withdraws its name but the opposition has vowed not to yield to this demand.
“The name belongs to a majority of Kenyans who support change. The NASA name does not belong to Raila, Wetang’ula or Kalonzo, it belongs to all Kenyans. Why haven’t other institutions like Jubilee Insurance sued Jubilee Party because of the name?” Mudavadi asked.
Meanwhile, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula praised Governor Ahmed Abdullahi for remaining loyal to opposition agenda. He is one of the staunch supporters of opposition and has not been swayed by political tides as is the case in Ukambani and some parts of coast region.
“We will continue to push our agenda as a united team until we push the Jubilee team out of power and the governor and the people of Wajir are with us in this journey,” said Wetangula.
