If elections were to be held today, Kilifi governor Amason Jeffah Kingi, would have worn by a landslide.

A latest poll by Trends & Insights For Africa (TIFA) Research Ltd, has showed that the ODM governor would beat his Jubilee Party rival, Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro, to retain his seat, with a 30 per cent votes difference.

TIFA survey released Thursday, indicated that Kingi has 51 per cent support in the Coastal county, against Mung’aro’s 16 per cent.Former Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi, who is also eyeing the seat, comes close third with 15 per cent approval, with 18 per cent of the Kilifi County voters, still undecided, on who to vote for.The pollster also showed that the Opposition's Nasa, was the popular party in Kilifi, with 61 per cent against President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee, which stood at 21 per cent.
