The National Super Alliance has been called upon to avoid a tug-of-war and agree on how they will allocate the key leadership positions in both houses.

According to Kisii county ODM Youth leader Mengo Ochwangi such conflicts can easily make them lose votes in any NASA stronghold and they should ensure each region gets a slot as they all fought for it.

Mengo called upon NASA leaders led by Raila to ensure that they allocate the slots fairly as that will bring unity to the coalition.

“I am an ODM member but all I want is a fair distribution of available leadership slots among the coalition members,” he added.

This comes barely after the ODM chairperson John Mbadi conflicted with NASA coalition CEO Norman Magaya who dismissed the list of officials appointed to take leadership roles in both houses of Parliament.

The NASA CEO claimed in a statement that the list had not been approved by the coalition’s leadership. The youth leader was addressing the press at Ufanisi resort on Monday.
