The National Super Alliance (NASA) has called on all its supporters and Kenyan patriots to participate in a peaceful anti American interference demo.
In a tweet, the coalition noted that the demos will take place today outside the US Embassy in Gigiri, Nairobi.
"We urge all patriots to participate in our peaceful anti American interference demo outside the US Embassy today (Friday)," read the tweet by the coalition on Friday.
The move to call for demos comes after a number of envoys urged the opposition to recognize Uhuru Kenyatta as the President to allow the country to regain its normalcy and improve on its economy.
The opposition dismissed the calls and urged the foreign diplomats to stop interfering with Kenyan political issues.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga accused the envoys of being selfish and asked them to leave Kenyans alone.
"Their only interest is to do business at the behest of their countries. They are not interested in our democracy," Odinga stated.
