[Photo|Nasa coalition]The National Super Alliance (Nasa), has cancelled its tour of the Coast region this weekend, even as President Uhuru Kenyatta is scheduled to tour the area, Sunday October 8.It is believed NASA principals led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka were scheduled to land in Mombasa today (Saturday), but the tour was put off, following alleged complains from local leaders, that they were not consulted.However, Kwale County NASA coalition coordinator, Nicholas Zani, told The Star that no explanation was given for the cancellation."I was told to inform our people about the tour. But later I was told it has been cancelled," he said, Saturday.Nasa leaders were to make roadside stopovers at Akamba Handicraft, Bangladesh and Tudor areas before addressing a rally at Frere Town ground, in Nyali constituency.They were as well scheduled to address supporters in Ukunda after stopovers at Likoni and Kombani, on Sunday.Mombasa County ODM chairman Mohamed Hatimy also confirmed the Friday night cancellation.The region is perceived a NASA stronghold but Jubilee, led by Uhuru, has been making frequent trips to lure votes.
