The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has postponed its campaign tour of Marsabit County, Saturday July 15.
A statement by the ODM Director of Communications, Philip Etale, cited unforseen circumstances.
"Due to unforseen circumstances, today's planned campaign tour of Marsabit County has been postponed. The NASA Presidential Candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga and the entire NASA leadership had been scheduled to address campaign rallies in Moyale, Marsabit and Laisamis areas of Marsabit County," said Etale.
This even as Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga attended a funeral service of the late Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Nkaissery, at his Ilbisil, Kajiado Central home.
"In view of the above, a new date will soon be set and announced to our supporters in the region. On behalf of the Marsabit County Presidential Campaign Co-ordinator Ms. Halima Daro, we regret the inconvenience caused," added Etale, Saturday afternoon.
Nasa campaigned in Nairobi a day before, Saturday.
