The NASA coalition cannot thrive without the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his ODM party, says ODM youth leader Martin Muthusi alias ‘Tyson'.
Speaking in Tala town on Saturday, Muthusi who is the National deputy youth leader said Raila Odinga is a key character in the coalition and has a lot of muscles when it comes to voter command.
Muthusi said most of the voters in Kalonzo, Wetangula and Mudavadi's backyards voted for NASA because of Raila and not them.
“Raila Odinga is the backbone of the NASA coalition and if ever he decides to exit then the coalition dies a natural death," Muthusi said.
He said the three principals have had cold feet when it comes to crucial matters concerning the coalition only to resurface later crying foul .
Muthusi said failure to appear in the oathing ceremony on January 30, is enough demonstration that they are still not ready to lead Kenya.
He advised the other co-principals to avoid sideshows and support the pact between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“It's no longer about NASA, it is about Kenya as a whole. If Raila and President Uhuru who were sworn enemies chose to put aside their differences for the sake of Kenya, why can't you be satisfied and let the country go forward?'' Muthusi said.
Muthusi said Kalonzo, Wetangula and Mudavadi should stop feeling left out and betrayed but instead man up and join Raila in his endeavors for the country's good.
