Nasa CEO Norman Magaya now wants the police to probe members of the Nairobi Business Community for the Wednesday demonstrations where vehicles were destroyed and goods looted.
While reacting to earlier comments by acting Internal Security CS Fred Matiangi on Thursday that called for his arrest ,Magaya said it was evident that it was the group which was behind the spate of anarchy that saw looters help themselves to crates of sodas outside a popular Nairobi cafe before stoning parked vehicles.
He adeed that Nasa demonstrators conducted themselves with decorum and dispersed after they were addressed by their leaders and could not have committed the said acts later that day.
"Our demonstrators dispersed after we had addressed them.It is impossible that they are the ones who did the looting. The police should look out for the Nairobi business community because they did not even give the police reasons for their demos", he said.
Matiangi however remained categorical that they would take action against Magaya for allegedly convening a procession that later turned violent.
