National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Norman Magaya has dismissed claims that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) is a militia group.Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV’s Cheche show on Wednesday, Magaya said those castigating NRM are afraid of their misdeeds being exposed.Magaya said NRM does not have militia links, adding that the process of having the movement registered is ongoing. The NASA CEO said NRM is what the country needs for electoral justice and reforms.Magaya stated that they (opposition) will not be cowed by castigators.“We will stand firm and ensure that electoral justice and reforms are realised,” said Magaya. He claimed that Jubilee is afraid of NASA’s new movement that’s why they’re out to criminalise it.Magaya said Jubilee will have a rough time in running the government even if President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta is sworn into office. He alleged that Uhuru’s re-election is illegitimate, arguing that it did not conform to the law as ordered by the Supreme Court. He accused the IEBC of rubber stamping Uhuru’s win and rushing to declare him the president-elect despite conducting a shambolic repeat election.A section of Jubilee politicians has been castigating NRM, claiming it is a militia group aimed at causing violence and anarchy in the country.
