[Photo| Raila Odinga]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has changed its Tuesday's plan of holding a mega rally at Uhuru Park grounds, Nairobi. Nasa will instead hold a parallel prayer rally at Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi to honour the lives of their supporters that were killed during confrontation with the police between 17th and 21st November."On Tuesday 28th we shall converge at Jacaranda Grounds for the funeral service of the deceased. We cannot be celebrating when people are lying dead in the morgue. It will not be a public rally, but a requiem mass," Raila said on Friday during a fundraising ceremony at Laico Regency to meet the funeral expenses of the victims. Nasa had earlier threatened to conduct a parallel swearing-in ceremony of Odinga as 'president' during their cancelled mega rally. The Opposition team will on Saturday tour Machakos county where the Nasa principals and elected leaders will hold a Mini People's Assembly to gauge the progress made to adopt the motion despite the court order barring Members of County Assembly from adopting the motion.
