This is after the agents who represented Raila Odinga in Nyandarua and Laikipia accused them of embezzling their money and threatened them with dire consequences.Dickson Manyara, the NASA presidential election coordinator in Nyandarua, on Tuesday told the Star that 655 people were recruited to work as Raila’s agents. Some 550 of them worked during the election, but are yet to be paid Sh4,800 each, as agreed."Now they are calling and threatening us because they want money and we don’t know what to do. I call on NASA secretariat to pay these people so we can be free to resume our jobs. My constituency coordinators in Ol Kalou and Kinangop have gone into hiding, fearing for their lives," Manyara said at Nyahururu on Tuesday.James Wakaba, in charge of training and coordination in Central at the NASA secretariat, did not respond to calls and SMSs for comment from the Star.Speaking to the Star on phone, Gerishon Olang, the NASA Ol Kalou constituency coordinator, said he has gone into hiding because he does not know how to deal with the 'impatient youth'.Grace Kahia was the NASA presidential election coordinator in Kinangop, and had 206 agents working under her. She said the alliance did not keep its promise to advance pay."Now I am not safe. I am not even living in my house because they are demanding money from me," she told the Star on the phone.
