Nyamira County Assembly Majority Whip Alfayo Ngeresa reportedly voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta on October 26th elections, a move that has intensified calls to have him de-whipped.
At Nyamira WhatsApp group on Monday, members accused him of sabotaging People's Assembly motion which is yet to be passed.
"I have evidence that he voted for Uhuru in October. He cannot implement a NASA agenda and this is opportunity to have him out," said Linet Osoro.
Another supporter Douglas Oindo said: "His constituents have confirmed so. Therefore, he has no moral authority to lead us."
The Mekenene ward MCA, who was elected on a Ford Kenya ticket, could not be reached for comment since he declined to pick calls.
However, a source within the assembly confirmed that NASA MCAs had threatened to expunge him from the lucrative assembly post.
