Komarock member of county assembly (MCA) aspirant Edison Natembeya is dead.

He was shot by a gang in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Natembeya, who was vying on a Ford-Kenya ticket, was shot together with a businessman who died on the spot while Natembeya was rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital and passed on after efforts to revive him failed.

Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has called for a speedy and thorough investigation into the incident.
