NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi continue to receive criticism after the trio skipped the swearing-in ceremony that was done on Tuesday.
The three have come under fire for their absence, with leaders and supporters alike accusing them of being cowards.
The three leaders met at Kalonzo’s home on Wednesday, following a night attack by unknown people who are said to have lobbed a grenade into Kalonzo’s compound.
Mudavadi said the whole NASA team will meet today, Thursday, and then will give a joint statement.
“The NASA summit, which includes our leader Raila Odinga will meet today, latest tomorrow and thereafter issue a joint statement on the way forward. We are an integral part of NASA and anyone saying that we have left is practicing cheap politics,” he said.
Other leaders who accompanied the trio insisted that the NASA coalition was still alive despite the Tuesday events. “Le our supporters give us time. By end f Friday, they will get answers to what is happening,” said Wetangula.
The absence of the three was termed as the highest level of betrayal from, especially with the team being vocal on the swearing in of Odinga.
