The National Super Alliance (NASA) is planning to scuttle the fresh presidential poll ordered by the Supreme Court, Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has said.Speaking during an interview with a local TV, Wamatangi said NASA's demands that IEBC must first meet their 'irreducible minimums' is a scheme to ensure the election is not held within the set timelines."The Opposition wants to pile up more demands and barriers on the electoral commission. Their push for reforms in IEBC is ill-intentioned," The Senator added: "The ultimate aim of the demands is to paralyse the electoral system to ensure the fresh poll fails to materialise."He defended Jubilee Party's bill seeking to amend the election law saying the reforms are needed to correct the issues that arose from the Supreme Court ruling."The motivation to come up with the bill arose from the judgement of the Supreme Court and the Maina Kiai's landmark case before the elections. Jubilee, unlike NASA, is clear on what we want," he said.
