National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale claims that the National Super Alliance being fronted by opposition parties ‘died’ on Wednesday at the Bomas.
Duale adds that the opposition failed to unveil a line-up that would face Jubilee government in August elections.
On Wednesday, several parties allied to opposition convened a grand meeting in which they gave voter registration a priority that is due to commence on Monday.
“I watched the event for several hours and nothing concrete took place. They only diverted their attention on saying so and so should go instead of addressing real issues,” he said during Thursday’s interview at Citizen TV.
“The coalition died in Bomas because they have not even unveiled the team that shall face us. Jubilee is already set for elections while the other team is struggling to identify flag bearer,” he added.
The Garissa Town MP also said the coalition had lost focus for indirectly endorsing Raila Odinga, whom he claimed cannot beat Jubilee government.
