National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders are expected in Nyamira for a series of rallies.

The rallies comes days after Deputy President William Ruto led Jubilee campaigns in the county.

The Sunday rallies to be held at Ekerenyo, Magwagwa and Rigoma will be countering the recent Jubilee forays in the region.

Nyamira is considered a bastion of opposition politics despite the concerted Jubilee efforts.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Treasurer Timothy Bosire said Nasa flagbearer Raila Odinga will be leading the team.

"Preparations have been finalised for the rallies. Jubilee has been cornered now and have nowhere to run to,"he is quoted by Nation.
