The opposition National Super Alliance has accused the United States represenative to Kenya of favouring the Jubilee government.
According to NASA, Jubilee regime has displayed dictatorship in recent weeks through defying court orders, shutting down of the media and ‘deporting’ a Kenyan citizen to Canada.
Speaking on Wednesday, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang claimed claimed that US ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec was favoring the ruling regime due to business interests.
“Some of the envoys were involved in dubious deals for instance the single sourcing of the carriage way from Nairobi to Mombasa and overpriced military aircraft that was to be sold to KDF but was later thwarted by an American congressman," said Kajwang.
This is after a group of envoys's led by Godec urged NASA leader Raila Odinga to recognize Uhuru Kenyatta as the legally arrested President.
NASA has sharply rebuked the move stating that Jubilee got in government through alleged electoral fraud.
The envoys said that the opposition should accept the Supreme Court’s ruling of the October 26 presidential petition and move on.
