The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Monday announced a new team that will represent the coalition at the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC).
The coalition settled on Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and Makueni Senator Mutula Kilozo Jnr as its nominees to the commission.
The leader of Minority in the National Assembly John Mbadi confirmed the changes adding that any other communications on the matter should be ignored.
"As it is, the Speaker should treat my letter as having settled the matter. My letter now overrides any communication,” Mbadi was quoted by The Nation.
NASA was forced to make the changes and replace Senator Gerge Khaniri with Mutula after Wiper complained of being sidelined in the appointments.
The decision to replace Mutula with Khaniri was arrived at after the coalition' house leadership met on Monday morning.
PSC is an important commission in parliament as it is mandated to hire staff for the legislature and also oversee the welfare of the lawmakers.
