Opposition coalition NASA has issued a new set of demands to the Supreme Court as their case challenging the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta begins from next week.
While speaking in Mombasa during the inauguration ceremony of county governor Hassan Joho, NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi urged their supporters to remain calm while the courts looks into their evidence.
"We are in court, we have decided to seek justice and my appeal to you is to remain strong as we pursue justice," said Mudavadi.
However, Mudavadi issued what may seem as demands to the highest court in the land on matters regarding the presidential petition they filed.
"Our prayer to the Supreme Court judges is that this time we want to see the judgement of every judge in the court. We want to know what each of the six judges has decided on the case and whats the reason behind their decision so that we can understand," said Mudavadi.
"We dont want to be told judgement is for two minutes then they leave, we want a well detailed judgement," he added.
The Supreme Court has 14 days to hear and determine the presidential petition filed by the opposition.
