A Muslim cleric has faulted NASA demonstrations planned for Friday.

Mohamed Khalisa said opposition leaders' calls to supporters to holed anti-IEBC demos on Fridays is absurd and disrespectful to the Muslim community.

"Opposition leaders and their supporters have every right to demonstrate but they should have exempted Friday since it is the day for Muslims to worship," said Khalisa.

He noted that the demonstrations are likely to disrupt peace and cause tension, fear.

This comes amid Opposition calls to hold protests on Mondays and Fridays seeking the resignation of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and other officials who rigged August 8 polls before the fresh polls are held on October 26.
