The presidential results being streamed in by the IEBC show that incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta has won against NASA candidate Raila Odinga.
However, Odinga has denounced them. While addressing the press, Raila Odinga said that the electoral body has violated the court ruling that made constituency results final.
Raila has alleged that the results being announced are illegal and are being keyed in by individuals hence do not reflect the will of the people on the ground. He also alleged that opposition has evidence about the ongoing election malpractice. Odinga has demanded that the results be accompanied by Form 34A.
“We will not accept the results until form 34A are produced,” Raila said during a press conference at 2 am Wednesday morning.
The opposition through Raila Odinga has given conditions that will make the process free, fair and transparent.
“If this form 34A bear the signature of our agents, we will accept the results but there are cases where our agents were not allowed to scan,” Odinga added.
