NASA principals have put the IEBC in the red light and asked the commission to quickly clean up the voters register.
This comes after an audit firm KPMG said that the current register contained more than a million dead voters who were reportedly waiting to vote in the August 8 polls.
Speaking in Mtito Andei on Saturday Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said:
"We are putting IEBC on notice...the register should be cleaned expeditiously."
On his part, ODM leader Raila Odinga said the electorate are now more politically alert and will not allow to be cheated through fave voters.
"Wamekuwa wakijivunia eti kwamba wao ndio wanajua kupiga kura...eti watu wetu wanalala na kura...nataka mara hii tuwaonyeshe mjinga ameerevuka," Raila, who is flag bearer, said at Mtito Andei market.
This loosely translates to: "They have been bragging that they are the ones who know how to vote... that our people have been wasting their votes... this time I want us to show them we have learned from our mistakes."
Raila added that a five-member group of supporters will man every polling station to prevent any form of rigging.
