National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has said that the alliance will not tolerate corrupt leaders in its government if it ascends to power in August.
According to Kalonzo, NASA’s government will crack the whip on leaders who will be implicated in graft scandals.
Addressing governors and participants during the ongoing 4th Devolution Conference in Naivasha on Wednesday, Kalonzo claimed that Jubilee government has failed to end graft.
He claimed that graft has been the order of the day in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government for the last four years.
The former Vice President (VP) added that corruption continues to bleed and deplete the country’s economy at the watch of Jubilee government.
“NASA will act tough on government leaders who will engage or implicated in corruption scandals,” he said.
The former VP stated that NASA is crafting key guidelines that will help it crack the whip on people who loot taxpayers’ money.
Kalonzo said that corruption is to blame for poor leadership in the country.
The opposition has been accusing the Jubilee government has been accused of allegedly harboring graft.
The Uhuru Kenyatta led government has however refuted the claims accusing the opposition of using alleged graft to criticize the development progress achieved by Jubilee government.
