National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principal and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has assured Kenyans that Nasa government will not stand corruption in the country.
Wetangula accused Jubilee government of tolerating corruption since they took power in 2013 saying this has led to the country going in the wrong direction.
“Jubilee has wasted large percentage of taxpayers’ money on corruption scandals and that is why the country is in so much trouble right now in terms of high cost of living,” said Wetangula.
He added that if Nasa forms the next government after the August 8 polls, he will not allow his friends in the coalition to involve in graft.
“Even I will not tolerate my colleague in Nasa engaging in corruption,” he said.
The Bungoma senator was speaking on Saturday at Kapsabet Agricultural Show Ground, Nandi county, during Nasa’s campaign rally in the region.
