A Governor allied to the opposition has denied claims that he attended President Uhuru Kenyatta's swearing-in ceremony at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong said those spreading rumours that he attended the event are his political enemies out to dent his image."I am not in Kasarani for the inauguration. Ignore the fake news being spread by some fallow bloggers," Ojaamong said on Tuesday.Close to forty governors attended the ceremony that was attended by over 60,000 people at the expansive stadium.Among those in attendance was Council of Governors chairman and Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok who was elected on an ODM ticket on August 8.Nanok attended the event despite being a member of the Raila Odinga-led ODM party, an affiliate of the NASA coalition. This comes after the Council of Governors through their chair Nanok, congratulated Uhuru on November 21 after the Supreme Court upheld his re-election.Uhuru took the oath of office to serve a second term that will run until 2022.
